If you’re coming by car, you can drive down to the old town and park briefly on the West port. The house is located 100m from the West entrance. There is a baroque staircase with a frog-shaped fountain. Climb up the stairs, go right and head up as soon you get to a little square (it is the 3rd street).
Parking is difficult. The medieval town was not built to accommodate cars 😊 You can park in the port, but it may cost you as much as the accommodation 😊
For long-term parking, the best place to go would be the Spot shopping mall SPOT Mall - Google Maps. It is about 10 minutes’ walk from the old town.
Free parking is another few minutes’ walk further uphill, just after the roundabout above the mall.
If you are coming by passenger ferry, it is about 200m from the port. You may go through the main city gate and up the large staircase leading to the square tower. If you have suitcases to carry, you can go right i.e. eastwards of the main gate and subsequently head up the first street just along the town walls. This is the only street in town which has no stairs. Get to the end of the street and head up towards the cathedral and our street is the second on the left, just past the pizzeria Amfora.
